- Orienting the council on the UW’s data governance model, roles and responsibilities
- Orienting the council to the time-sensitive work of implementing a system of record for core location data—a need based on requests from Finance Transformation and resulting decisions made by data governance groups
- Identifying additional topics for the council to address
